We’ll get the real story
There’s no lonelier, helpless, and hurtful feeling than when your child is completely unreachable, and you have no idea where to go or what to do. They won’t talk to you, they blame you for everything, you’re the one with the problem, not them. Your desperation is indescribable.
The answer you’re searching for is Colorado Addictions Consulting. Our exceptionally talented team is vastly experienced in working with at-risk youth. We are highly skilled at gaining the trust of your child, allowing open communication to get the true reason why your child is abusing drugs and alcohol. Having that information gives you the tools you need to find the best treatment and recovery for your child.
We meet all those who enter our doors with respect, humanity, and understanding. No judgement here. Just our sincere desire to help.
Time is critical when dealing with substance abuse and it is imperative to know the best way to help someone as quickly as possible.

This compassion, combined with their knowledge and experience, are things that everyone deserves and will experience at Colorado Addictions Consulting.
Just want to say thank you once again for all you provided. Not only did I learn about what I did wrong and how to prevent it in the future but I learned much about myself as a whole. Everyone was so helpful specially Beth. I love her very much and we’ll miss you all. I’ll reach out in the near future to tell you how everything is going with me.
I thank you all so much for your help in getting through this difficult time and wish you much happiness, health and success always. Beth – from my intake day forward you treated me with the utmost of respect in spite of my mistake and your professionalism and willingness to help me in all ways will not be forgotten. Stephanie – you are likely the kindest, most compassionate person I’ve ever worked with and I thank you for the love and care you give to all of your clients.
Stephanie, Beth, and Melinda are such incredible humans who truly care and love to watch change for the better. I’m so grateful for their warmth, kindness, and understanding! Such an amazing group of people. They gave me guidance and helped me push myself towards a brighter future. Calm and caring was how the environment was the entire time I was there. My time here, from beginning to end, was a very positive experience. I learned a lot and met other individuals going through many of the same challenges. This experience was extremely helpful along with the excellent support of our class therapist.
Beth and the other counselors show so much support and make this whole process a lot easier. Melinda, the front desk lady, is one of the nicest, funniest people here. Coming to this place will be a life-changing and great experience.
No one wants to go through this hard situation. I was so pleased to feel safe and uplifted, and get advice with perspective. The counselors are there to help you get through the situation the best way possible. I was lucky to find CAConsulting.
The team here was great! Not only did they teach me how to better myself, they did it in a fun way that was like no other classes I’ve ever attended. The culture was awesome, open, inviting and educational!
This place is great! Very welcoming environment and friendly staff!
Amazing staff that will definitely put a smile on your face.
Very respectable and helpful. Not there to target you, just there to help.
Thank you so much for all the support and uplifting care through this from you and your entire team.

FAQ for Parents
Do I need a referral from my child’s pediatrician to have an evaluation done?
No. We can evaluate your child with a request from you or a referral from your child’s pediatrician.
How quickly can my child be seen for an evaluation?
We can schedule your child’s evaluation within 3-5 business days of your request or a referral from your pediatrician.
Do you take insurance?
We work with both Cigna and Aetna insurance companies.
How much does a substance use evaluation cost if you don’t take my insurance?
We have three different tiers for evaluations based on the concern of your child’s substance use. Our staff can assist you in determining which tier would best suit the needs of your child as well as your budget
Do you do Telehealth or in-person visits?
Meeting with clients face to face provides the counselor with the best opportunity to observe verbal and facial indicators as well as body language, so we prefer to meet in person. We also recognize there may be a need for adaptations to be made and will offer Telehealth if you are unable to make an in-person visit.
How long will it take to get the results of the evaluation?
The report will be available 5-7 business days after the completion of the evaluation
